We’ve been harping on about Xcom 2 Collection coming to the App Store for a few weeks now. Well now we can stop, because the game is now available to download for iPhone and iPad.
If you’ve not been paying attention, the game is a classic RTS that sees you trying to free the world from alien overlords. This version includes the War of the Chosen and 4 DLC packs.
The game has been polished and preened to work perfectly on touchscreen devices. You’re going to need a pretty hefty device to play it though. At least an iPhone 7 Plus, a 2nd generation iPad Pro, 5th generation iPad Mini, 3rd generation iPad Air or 7th generation iPad. You can check the requirements on the game’s App Store page.
There’s a price for all of this. Specifically $24.99. It might not be the cheapest game on the App Store, but you’re getting a massive, AAA experience that’s going to keep you on the edge of your seat for hours.
Click here and you can pick up Xcom 2 Collection from the App Store right this second. You’ll need to have 8.5GB of free space on your device, and it’s recommended that you have double that to avoid any issues. That’s a lot of space, but we reckon it’s worth it.
