‘The Way’ Kickstarter Still Going Strong, Rapidly Approaching Mobile Stretch Goal

Play Way’s goal to make a tribute to atmospheric side scrolling adventure games — such as  Another World (our review), Heart of Darkness, or even Flashback — has been going very well, having just successfully reached their $20,000 (CAD) multi-language stretch goal. Thanks to this accomplishment the game will now be delivered with a wide array of languages, rather than merely just the default English that the base product would have been released with. However — with an entire seven days still remaining — Play Way isn’t quite yet ready to rest on their laurels, seeing as how they still have a variety of Stretch Goals setup to ensure that their project becomes the best tribute game ever!

Chief of which — being the very next goal, even — is the chance for The Way to be ported to a variety of mobile platforms, assuming that the Kickstarter manages to make it over to the $25,000 (CAD) mark. If you were an iOS user whom previously passed up on supporting The Way because you perhaps thought that the game wouldn’t reach this vital milestone, the objective is now easily within reach if just a few more backers show up. What’s more is that there’s still some of the $10 (CAD) early bird backer slots left, letting you secure a launch day copy of The Way — and have your name even appear in the game’s credits as well — all for a reduced cost!

Those interested in helping to fund The Way — whom haven’t already done so — should be sure to cast their pledges by June 4th, after which time the game won’t be available again until the project is finally completed (which is estimated to arrive on September 2014).
