Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad is a 5v5 PvP Shooter, Out Next Month

Over the weekend Ubisoft revealed the release date for Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad. The game, which features characters from a whole bunch of other Tom Clancy games, is due to land on the App Store on August 27th. But what can you expect when the game comes out?

Well, Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad is all about building up a team of heroes and villains to take down the evil UMBRA. You’ll be creating your squad from characters from Splinter Cell, The Division, HAWX, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six and more.

Then you take your fighters into 5v5 battles for supremacy. The game plays like an action RPG. So expect strategy, special powers and plenty of guns, bullets and explosions. You can check out the trailer we’ve embedded below to get a better idea of what to expect.

Alongside the PvP mode, there’s a campaign. Here you’ll discover the story behind UMBRA, and start to understand why good guys and bad guys have had to join together to take the new organisation down.

It all sounds pretty darn exciting, right? If you agree you can get your pre-order in for Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad by clicking right here. The game is going to be free to play when it launches at the end of next month.
