This Weekend is Your Last Chance to Qualify for the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020

The first Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship is set to kick off the last of its qualifying rounds tomorrow. That means if you’re yet to bag your place in the second round, you’re running out of time.

How do you qualify? Well, it couldn’t be simpler. All you have to do is register for the event through the game. When you’ve done that, your next ten Ranked multiplayer matches counts towards your score. Get 80 points and you’ll make it to the next round.

How do you get points? Well that’s easy too – at least in principal. All you need to do is win. The higher your ranked level, the more points you’ll get for every victory. Pro level players, for example, get 14 points every time they chalk up a win.

You need to score 80 points over the ten games in order to qualify for the second stage of the tournament. Even if you don’t make it to that magical number, it’s still worth participating. You’ll get coins and other goodies for getting 20, 40, or 60 points too.

In the second round of the tournament you’ll need to make a team with other players, but right now you can just jump in to matchmaking and let the game sort out the rest.

One thing to note though – you can’t use controllers or other additional equipment while you’re qualifying. If you try, the game will notice and you won’t be awarded your score.

The competition is fierce for places in the second round, so make sure you bring your A-game if you’re going to try and qualify. The eventual winners of the tournament are going to share a million dollar prize fund, so this is no laughing matter.
