The Witcher: Monster Slayer Launching Worldwide Later This Month

The Witcher: Monster Slayer is basically Pokemon Go in the Witcher world. Okay, it’s a bit more complex than that, but it’s an AR-powered experience that sees you wandering round the real world to, well, slay monsters.

We’ve been going on about the game for a while, and now we’ve finally got a release date to share with you. The Witcher: Monster Slayer is set to launch worldwide on iOS on July 21st. That’s in hardly any time at all.

Alongside finding monsters, there’s a lot going on in the game. There are quests, there are potions to brew and there are new weapons and armor pieces to find. Here’s a trailer that was released to announce the launch date.

The game also sees you collecting trophies from the monsters you’ve killed. So you can have an AR wall of severed and stuffed heads. Which is pretty cool. And pretty creepy. Which describes The Witcher pretty well.

The App Store page for The Witcher: Monster Hunter isn’t live yet, which means there’s no way to pre-order the game as of yet. That’s a bit annoying, but you don’t have long to wait to get your hands on the game, so it’s not the end of the world, right?
