The latest content update to smash-hit ARPG Pascal’s Wager will be landing on the App Store on Christmas Day. It’s bringing with it a whole bunch of exciting new bits and bobs, including a new mode that’s going to test your mettle and skills.
That mode is a boss rush mode called the Obsessison Challenge. It pits you against increasingly tougher bosses from the main quest. There are leaderboards to work your way up, so you can show off your skills to players from around the globe.
There’s more in the update as well. There are new costumes for Viola – the Initiation Rite outfit – and Benita – the Sleeping Beauty outfit. They’ll be available when the update goes live, and it’ll cost you 99c a pop to pick them up.
There are also some tweaks to the movesets of Norwood, Terrance and Viola. And to top things off, if you’ve got a device that supports iOS 14 you’ll now be able to play the game with a mouse and keyboard. Which is pretty awesome.
And if that wasn’t enough, the game is going to drop in price to celebrate the holiday season and the launch of the new update. You’ll be able to grab it for just $4.99, down from the usual price of $6.99. That sounds like a proper bargain to us.
