Saddle up Squids fans because The Game Bakers are back with another generous serving of fresh new content for their critically lauded RPG/TBS/physics puzzler hybrid, Squids Wild West (Out Now, $1.99).
Just to refresh your memory, here’s what we had to say about the game when we reviewed it back in June: “If you loved the first Squids and want more content of that caliber, you should go right out and download Squids: Wild West — it’s as simple as that. And if you haven’t played the first, you should probably go do that now.”
If you took our advice, you’ll definitely want to check out today’s free update to Squids: Wild West, which adds a host of new features and tons of content, including (deep breath!) a whole new chapter in the story — with new maps and adventures — a rather spectacular new Squid to recruit (pictured above), a ‘Pro Mode’ that lets players play the game again with a super high difficulty and a new setup for the enemies, iPhone 5 optimization, a secret quest to find 4 hidden helmets, and the ability to level your Squids up to level 30. (Phew!) As well as all that, this update also includes a fan-requested function to reset a game and several bug fixes.
