The Elder Scrolls: Blades is Finally Out of Early Access

That’s a sort of strange headline to type, since it feels like The Elder Scrolls: Blades has been out for an age. But yesterday the game officially shifted out of its early access phase of release.

The game has been updated to version 1.7, which adds a whole load of new goodies. On top of that there are a bunch of freebies for players. If you’ve been with The Elder Scrolls: Blades for the long haul, you’re in for a treat.

All early access players are going to receive some free gems, and a free large decoration. It’s a way for Bethesda to say thanks to the players who’ve been there from the start. That’s not all that version 1.7 is adding though.

The update also includes a brand new gladiatorial questline. You’ll need to fight your way to becoming the Grand Champion. It’ll be worth your while though – complete the quest and you’ll receive the Grand Champion Sword and Grand Champion Helm.

This is the latest in a long line of updates for The Elder Scrolls: Blades. Ever since it first landed on the App Store, Bethesda has been tweaking and polishing the experience. The shift out of early access suggests that this is the Blades game they always wanted you to play.

You can click here to download The Elder Scrolls: Blades from the App Store right now. It won’t cost you a thing to pick it up. If you’re already playing, then the update is waiting for you to download and install.
