A few weeks ago we let you know about The Academy: The First Riddle. If you don’t remember, it’s a magical puzzling adventure set in a school for gifted children. Think Hogwarts, but a little more modern and a little more riddle-filled.
Well, the game has now come out for iPhone and iPad, meaning you can experience the mysteries The Academy has to offer for yourself. You’re playing a young student called Sam, and it’s up to you to explore the grand architecture of your new school and find its secrets.
How many secrets are there? Well the game features more than 200 puzzles. They’re spread around the titular academy, so when you’re not scratching your head you’re going to be exploring every nook and cranny.
You’re not going to be on your own during your adventure. There are other students and teachers who will help and hinder you during your investigations. Every puzzle you solve will push you deeper into an old mystery that hangs over both the school and the town of Arbor.
The Academy: The First Riddle is available from the App Store right this second. Click here and you’ll be able to pick it up for nothing at all. If you’re a fan of Harry Potter or Professor Layton, it’s definitely worth checking out.
