Her Story was a brilliant, non-linear mystery game. Its follow-up, Telling Lies, was also brilliant. So it’s fair to say that when Sam Barlow, the creator of both games, announces something new our little hearts start beating ever-so-slightly faster.
The game is about a fictitious movie star who disappeared under strange circumstances. That’s pretty much all we know right now, except that it’s going to feature writing from Allan Scott (Don’t Look Now, The Queen’s Gambit), Amelia Gray (Mr. Robot, Telling Lies) and Barry Gifford (Wild at Heart, Lost Highway). That’s made us even more excited.
Hey, there’s a trailer too. Again, it doesn’t show much, but it’s got movie posters and fire and explains a little bit about what’s going on. Why don’t you watch it right this goddamn second.
So far Immortality has only been confirmed for a PC release, but there are more platforms yet to be revealed, and we’re crossing our fingers that one of them is going to be iOS. It’s making it very difficult to type.
