Team Based Battle Royale Apex Legends is Out Right Now on the App Store

It’s been a while coming, but Respawn has finally launched the pocket-sized version of its team-based battle royale classic Apex Legends on the App Store. So if you’ve been hankering for some super-slick shooting action with a couple of friends, you’re in luck.

This is a standalone version of the game, so you can’t do any cross play, but it’s still a faithful port that’s packed with everything that made the home versions of the game so exciting. And there’s a brand new, mobile-first legend to boot.

He’s called Fade, and you can find out a bit more about him in the trailer we’re going to embed at the bottom of this paragraph. There’s also some gameplay footage and an introduction to the other characters and modes you’re going to be blasting through.

It all looks pretty darn awesome, we think you’ll agree. There’s been a slightly staggered launch across the globe to make sure the servers don’t throw a hissy fit, which you can find out more about here. But we’re pretty sure the game should be live almost everywhere right about now.

If you’d like to give Apex Legends Mobile a go you can click here to download it from the App Store. It’s free to play with IAP, but there’s a lot of fun waiting even if you’re not going to fork out for anything. So have fun.
