If you're seeking lots of special moves or evolving gameplay mechanics you won't find them in "Katana Jack," but it perfectly captures the feel of ye olde single-screen arcade platformers. This is definitely a title you should snatch up if you're looking for a simple action game you can play in short spurts from time to time.

Seriously, jAggy Race feels like App Store newcomers SevenOnly smooshed the best bits of two of my all-time favorite iOS titles together to create something boldly and refreshingly different.

The whole hand-drawn graphics gimmick has been done a thousand times before on iOS, yet something about Morten Andersen's App Store debut, Cute Shoot!, still managed to pique this doodle-weary reviewer's interest. Yeah, you guessed it, it was the game's utterly crazy plot which revolves around a badass kitty armed with a machine gun mowing down hordes of monsters...
