Sword Art Online VS is the latest mobile game in the franchise and was created to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the popular Sword Art Online anime. This gacha game follows a brand-new story, where Kirito finds out about a mysterious game called Cross Edge. Kirito hears strange rumours about random attacks within the game that causes players to lose part of their memories. He decides to investigate, as he and his friends start to play Cross Edge.

How Many Characters Are There In Sword Art Online VS?
At the moment there are five characters so far in the game. No other characters have been announced yet, but we’ll keep this guide up-to-date with each new character release. As the game is in a pre-registration state, there’s still plenty of time for further announcements, so remember to bookmark this page.
S Tier List
This is what we deem to be the best in the game at this current time. S-Tier characters are recommended to all players and should be obtained as soon as possible.
A Tier List
A-Tier characters can be brilliant replacements for S-Tier characters, and will easily do the job when clearing content. While S-Tier characters are better, A-Tier characters are fantastic for your team.
B Tier List
They aren’t as strong as S-Tier characters or A-Tier characters, but they can be used as substitutes if you can’t get your hands on better characters at the time.
C Tier List
We recommend avoiding C-Tier characters as they aren’t exactly great stat-wise. You may struggle to clear content with these characters, so try to aim for B-Tier and above.
D Tier List
These characters should be avoided completely – don’t waste your resources on them.

Sword Art Online VS Reroll Guide
Rerolling in gacha games is fairly simple, as it’s the best way to try and get the exact characters you want. Sword Art Online VS will give you a guaranteed SSR character on your first summon.
- Install Sword Art Online VS.
- Sign in.
- Complete the tutorial/prologue
- Do your first summon.
- If you’re not happy with the SSR you got, delete the game, your account, and the game files.
- Reinstall the game.
- Complete the tutorial/prologue again until you reach the ability to do the tutorial summon.
- Repeat the process until you get the SSR you want.
