Summoners War: Lost Centuria is a real-time PvP strategy game that sees you building up a team of monsters and taking them into battle against players across the world. It’s pretty darn slick and you can grab it from the App Store right now.
The game is set in the same universe as previous Summoners War games, so if you’re familiar with any of the creatures from there you’re definitely going to recognize some faces here. The battle system is pretty fresh though.
One of the biggest twists here comes in the form of counters. You can throw up special attacks just after your opponent to strike first and take the advantage. There are synergies and other twists that require your attention as well.
You can form alliances with other players to share rewards, as well as equip your characters with special runes and skill stones to toughen them up. There’s a decent level of depth here, even though the scraps only last a handful of minutes.
