Star Ocean: Anamnesis, the gacha RPG that takes place in the same universe as Square Enix’s JRPG franchise, is shutting down in November.
That’s just the global version of the game though, which hasn’t proven as much of a hit in the west as it has over in Asia.

It challenged you to collect popular characters from the franchise’s history and build your own crew out of them.
You’d then send them out into battle against recognisable foes from the franchise’s history.
You can still check out Star Ocean: Anamnesis in the App Store until November if you’re curious. All of the IAPs have been turned off though.
