Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is one of the most underrated games in the entire Final Fantasy canon. It’s a co-operative action RPG with some brilliant ideas that was one of the best games for Gamecube. And now it’s coming to iOS.
Square Enix has revealed some new details about what you can expect for the port. There’s plenty to get excited about as well. For one thing the game is going to be cross platform. That means you can play with friends on Switch, PS4 or Android from your iOS device.
That’s great news, because playing the game with other people makes it even more entertaining. There’s plenty of other interesting new twists in the game too. You can check them out in the trailer that we’ve embedded below this paragraph.
Interestingly the game is going to be free to try on the App Store. That means the first 13 dungeons are going to be free. You’ll need to pay if you want to get deeper into the experience though. The free chunk of the game still features the cross platform compatibility, so you can get a real taste of the game before you chuck some money down.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition is set to land on the App Store on August 27th. You can find out more about the game by checking out its official website by clicking here.
