Severed is one of those games that feels like it should always have been a mobile game. Released on Vita a few years ago, it finally found its true home on touchscreen devices. And now you can get it for ridiculously cheap.
The game sees you swipe-slashing your way through a series of enemies. You need to cut them into pieces, then use chunks of them to augment your own skills. Basically, you’re beating to death with the soggy end of their own arms.
The game has a gorgeous art style, mixing primary colors with gouts of gore to create a real treat for the eyes. Check out the trailer we’ve embedded below to get some idea of what to expect.
Looks pretty damn awesome, right? And Severed has the gameplay to back up its graphical swagger as well. Everything about the game flexes and poses in just the right way, and once you pick it up it’s super difficult to put it down again.
