Earlier this year Square Enix released SaGa Frontier Remastered on the App Store. It’s a polished and tweaked version of the 1989 classic, and right now you can save yourself a few bucks if you take the plunge and buy it.
The game sees you playing as a number of different characters, including a new one added specially for this remastering. You can play them in different orders, changing the story as you work your way through the game.
There are battles a-plenty to engage in, cut-scenes that have been reinstated and a load more. This is probably the best way to experience an oft-overlooked classic of the genre.
Normally the game would set you back $24.99, which isn’t too steep a price for hours and hours of RPG goodness. But at the moment you can save a few dollars, picking the game up for $21.99. It isn’t a massive saving, but it’s a saving nonetheless.
