RuneScape Coming to iPhone and iPad This Summer

It’s been a long while coming, but the full version of RuneScape is finally set to hit the App Store later this year. We’ve already had Old School RuneScape, but now we’re set to get the main version of the game as well, which is pretty cool.

The pre-order page for the game is live on the App Store right now, and there are different reward tiers depending on how many people register their interest in the game. You can find out more about that by checking out the game’s official website here.

As is customary in the modern age, Jagex has also released a trailer for the upcoming release. And since we’re hip and cool and down with all the latest tech, we’ve “embedded” the trailer just below this paragraph.

If you haven’t heard of RuneScape, it’s a super-long-running MMO that’s been around for a couple of decades. It was originally a browser-based experience, but it’s gone through a whole bunch of iterations since then, ending with the polished and engaging experience that’s heading to mobile in the next few months.

According to the App Store, we can expect to see RuneScape launching on June 17th. The trailer suggests a more vague ‘summer’ release, so that might not be a concrete date. Either way, you can click here to pre-register for RuneScape right this second.
