Rocket League: Sideswipe Out Now Worldwide for iPhone and iPad

The mobile version of Psyonix’s smash hit car-ball game has finally launched worldwide. It’s called Rocket League: Sideswipe and it takes what made the original game so great and squishes it down onto smaller screens.

The aim of the game is the same – score more goals than your opponent. This time though they’re side-on, and the matches are either 1v1 or 2v2. It’s not always goals, either, there’s a hoops mode that adds a basketball-style twist.

Let’s take a moment to watch a trailer for the game, so we can get a better idea of what to expect from the game. And so we don’t have to type for a bit. Or something.

The game looks pretty slick. Right now it’s in pre-season, which a lot of games seem to be doing nowadays. Matches will last a couple of minutes, so you can jump in for some fast-paced fun without having to invest too much.

If you fancy giving Rocket League: Sideswipe a go you can click here to download it from the App Store. It’s free with IAP.
