Project Cars GO out now on the App Store

Project Cars GO is the mobile version of the console-based car-porn racer. And it’s out right now on the App Store. If you’re expecting a squidged down version of the home classic though, you’re going to be a bit disappointed. Why? Well read on to find out.

The game owes more to the likes of CSR than it does to traditional racers. You’re not controlling your steering, just tapping and pressing on the screen to change gears and brake. It’s an interesting system, and it just about works.

Obviously there are loads of cars to collect, as you’d imagine from a game with a name like Project Cars. There’s loads of racing to be done as well – this is the sort of game that’s going to keep you entertained for hours on end.

It’s certainly a good looking game. The car models are all shiny in the right places, and the scenery flies by in a most pleasant way. Sure, it might not have the visceral connection of a real racing game, but it’s still got a lot going for it.

You can grab Project Cars Go from the App Store by clicking here. The game won’t cost you a thing to download, and it’s probably as close to owning a supercar as most of us are going to get. You might as well give it a try. Or, a GO… Sorry.
