You might remember that a few weeks ago we told you that Professor Layton and the Unwound Future was on its way to the App Store. Well, we can now report that the game is live. That’s right, you can download it right this second.
The game is the third in the Professor Layton series, and it’s all about time travel. Well, the story is anyway. You’ll be solving tricky puzzles to unravel the mystery and meeting interesting and exciting characters while you do.
It might not be the newest game in the world, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t unique and exciting. The Layton games are still some of the most intriguing adventures out there, and if you’ve never experienced one before this is as good a place as any to start.

The game has had a few tweaks for its mobile release. For one thing, it’s now in HD, so it’s going to look better than ever on your iPhone or iPad. There are touchscreen controls now too, letting you navigate the world with just a few taps.
The original version of Professor Layton and the Unwound Future sold more than 17 million copies and was brilliantly well received when it came out. And now you can play it on your phone. What a crazy world we live in.
