Her Story is a game unlike anything else you’ve played. It’s a crime-solving mystery where you’re piecing together the evidence through a wonky old computer interface. It’s magnificent, and right now you can pick it up for less than a dollar.
The game sees you watching snippets of police interview film to try and get to the bottom of a mysterious disappearance. You navigate through them by searching for keywords, connecting the dots yourself as you do.
The video is all live action, and it’s brilliantly acted too. There are plenty of twists and turns here, and we’re not going to spoil anything if for some reason you haven’t already played the game. We will share a trailer with you, though.
To put it mildly, Her Story is one of the best games ever made. It’s deep, engrossing, and leaves you to fill in the blanks. It’s like a novel in a world of shiny comic books, and it’s a bargain when it’s at full price quite frankly.
