After its initial release on a bunch of home consoles and computers and maybe smart toasters, Nexomon: Extinction has launched on the App Store. So if you want to catch a bunch of cartoon monsters, you’re in luck.
The game is the sequel to the original Nexomon, and sees you travelling around a massive world trying to collect more than 380 different creatures. That’s a lot of creatures, but there’s a compelling story that’s going to keep you playing as well.
That story involves Tyrant Nexomon, which are big and bad and are stomping around smashing everything in sight. It’s up to you to try and take them down. Yeah, good luck with that. Here’s a trailer for your eyes.
There are a bunch of different regions to explore, from the blinding whiteness of the arctic tundra to deserts and loads more. Different Nexomon have different elemental properties too, so you’ll need to balance out your team.
