Apple Wants Its Own ‘Breaking Bad’ or ‘Game of Thrones’
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles-based Apple execs are currently shopping around for “big, smart, splashy dramas” in the vein of Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones. So far, they’ve placed a bid on a reboot of Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories and taken meetings withan array of TV talent, includingVince Gilligan (Breaking Bad), Ron Moore (Outlander) and Mike Schur (The Good Place).
Thatgamecompany’s multi-award winning indie charmer Flower unexpectedly landed on the App Store this week, courtesy of Annapurna Interactive. The game — which until now has been exclusive to the PlayStation platform — costs $4.99 on iOS, and is a must-buy for anyone who appreciates lush, beautifully crafted visuals and zen-like gameplay. Fingers crossed Flower’s release paves the way for Journey to also come to iOS at some point.
There’s really never been a better time to pick up the slice of awesomeness that isthe full paid version of Super Mario Run than right now. In addition to being on sale for its lowest price ever (a measly $4.99), the game also just receiveda huge update that adds a new world, gameplay mode, playable character, and more.
