Lego Star Wars Battles Out Now on Apple Arcade

Fancy some quick-fire, RTS action featuring a bunch of your favorite Star Wars characters and some Porgs? Well you’re in luck, then, because Lego Star Wars Battles has just launched on Apple Arcade and it features all of those things.

The game takes its cues from the likes of Clash Royale. You’re fighting it out on small maps, using your energy to send out units to try and take down your opponent’s base. Different units have different strengths and weaknesses, so you need to build a balanced deck if you want to succeed.

There’s a neat twist here as well – you need to build two decks. You’ve got light side and dark side cards, and the game will pick at random which of them you’re going to use. Here’s a trailer.

You can build towers to watch your back, and there are a bunch of different planets for you to play on. This is a PvP experience, and at the moment it feels like it’s building up enough of an audience that you shouldn’t have to wait too long for a game.

If any of that sounds like it might tickle your fancy, you can click here to download Lego Star Wars Battles from the App Store right this second. You’ll need an Apple Arcade account to play it, mind.
