We’re going to recommend and base our guide around the free to play slimes, as they’re more accessible to a wider audience. With that in mind, let’s get on with it!
Astrie
Astrie is our personal recommendation for the free to play Slimes, and there’s a few reasons why.
One of the reasons why we love Astrie is that they possess a unique skill called Thunderstorm Clouds. If you’ve played Legend Of Slime for some time, you’ll know that there’s a lot of bosses in early game, and that’s where this unique skill comes into play.
Thunderstorm Clouds allows you to deal an extra 20% of damage towards the boss, giving you the edge you need to take on bosses in the early stages of the game. All in all, that already makes Astrie better than the rest of the free to play Slimes.
Alternative Best Slime: Ornis
While we recommend Astrie for the most part, there’s places that Ornis shines through, too. The only reason we haven’t included Ornis as the main recommendation is that they are exclusive to limited events that took place in the past, meaning if you’re new to the game, you likely won’t have access to the character.
We love Ornis for their unique skill known as Don’t Mess With Us Chickens. This very specifically titled unique skill spawns vengeful chickens to stomp on enemies, dealing 450% attack damage to enemies. On average, the chickens will spawn every 11 seconds, making Ornis a very powerful free to play slime.
