League of Legends Spin-off Legends of Runeterra has Soft Launched in Singapore

Riot Games has plenty of upcoming goodies for mobile League of Legends fans entertained over the next few months, and one of them – Legends of Runeterra – has just soft launched for iOS.

Legends of Runeterra is probably the most interesting of the LoL games on the docket. It’s a beefy, cross-platform card game with surprising depths. Think Hearthstone but set in the League of Legends universe. Yeah, we reckon you’re probably quite excited right now. Check out the announcement video we’ve embedded below and we reckon you’ll get even more excited.

The game is going to be free to play, but every card will be available to you as you play – spending is just going to get you them quicker. There’s more than a dash of Magic: The Gathering here as well, with vastly customisable decks you’re going to lose hours tinkering with.

Smash a click here and you’ll be able to check out the official website of Legends of Runeterra. It’s already available for PC, and you’ll be able to pre-register your interest for the Android version there as well.

Become Legend

Currently the game is only available in Singapore, but we imagine it’s going to be coming out worldwide in the not too distant future, following the pattern of pretty much every major free to play game that’s come out on iOS in the past few years.

Have you played Legends of Runeterra on PC? Are you looking forward to the mobile version? Maybe you’re sick of League of Legends and want to play something else? Let us know in the comments below.
