IGG Improve Stability of Strategy-MMO Mobile Royale

IGG, the studio behind recent megahit Lords Mobile, has started 2019 in top form with the release of Mobile Royale, an impeccable strategy-MMO follow-up that has already attracted over a million installs in a few short weeks.

Not only that, but the editors at Google have chosen to slap an Editor’s Choice badge on it, and more than 50,000 users have left reviews averaging 4.5 stars out of 5.

The game, in case you’re one of the few who haven’t downloaded it yet, sees you growing a city by unlocking, adding, and upgrading buildings, training an army, trading with other players, and generally making your mark on a huge fantasy world.

It’s a truly sprawling RTS, and it looks great too, with pinsharp 3D graphics and a host of imaginative details such as the airships that ferry goods from place to place.

Unfortunately, the first few weeks of Mobile Royale’s life have been affected by a slight blemish, with players complaining that installing updates leaves them open to attacks that they can’t fend off.

It hasn’t taken IGG long to nip the issue in the bud. The latest game update brings with it a Maintenance Shield, a protective barrier that keeps your city safe from attack while updates are being installed, as well as preventing imprisoned leaders from escaping.

The update also adds a new monster to the game. It’s called the Abyss Worm, which may be the scariest name we’ve ever heard. The Arena Area is also making its first appearance. This is an arena where players can pit their heroes against each other in 60 second fights, as long as they have a castle at level 6 or over.

Finally, IGG has increased the available rewards so that you can collect as many as 10,000 crystals for free during seasonal events in the Arena mode.
