Zynga and Warner Brothers have announced that there’s a brand new Harry Potter game on its way to mobile. It’s called Harry Potter: Puzzles and Spells, it’s coming out for iPhone and iPad, and we’ve got all of the information you need on the game right here.
As you might be able to tell from the name, the game will see you matching gems together to cast spells. There are going to be loads of different characters from the Harry Potter universe to play with. We mean, just a glance at the artwork above should tell you that.
The game is also going to feature some twists on the usual match-stuff gameplay. You’ll be able to swipe and swish out spells to help you out when the levels get tough. We’re guessing that’s where the spells part of the game’s name comes from.
You’re a Wizard
The Harry Potter franchise has had something of a spotty history when it comes to mobile games. There are some great ones, like Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. And then there are some less good ones, like Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.
It’ll be interesting to see whether the extra tricks this puzzler has up its sleeve are enough to get Harry Potter and puzzler fans excited. That said, any excuse to hang out with Hagrid and Dumbledore is alright by us.
