The game would normally set you back $2.99, so this is a pretty great deal. Now, Picsoft did previously run a free promo on the game at launch, but, if I’m not mistaken, this is the first time Guardian Sword has been made available without charge since then.
My colleague Clovis L. Dye, Jr. (iFanzine’s resident RPG fan) gave Guardian Sword a pretty glowing 4-star review upon release, describing it as “utterly enthralling” and praising its “seamless blend of in-depth RPG combat strategy and puzzle mechanics.” But you don’t just have to take our word for it — the game also scored rave reviews from the likes of Touch Arcade and TouchMyApps.
