As part of the publisher’s seventh birthday celebrations, a bunch of Playdigious games are on sale for the next seven days. And all of them are well worth picking up if you haven’t played them before. In fact, they’re well worth picking up when they’re not on sale, so it’s like they’re doubly worth picking up at the moment.
The jewel in the crown of the sale is probably the wonderful Dead Cells. It’s a side-scrolling hack and slash roguelite with a fearsome level of challenge, loads of bosses and more action than you can throw an action stick at.
Also included in the sale is Northgard, a Viking-life sim that sees you trying to tame the new continent of Northgard. You’re fighting against other tribes as well as the weather, various beasts and plenty of other hazards lurking in the icy wastes.
Like we said, all of the games on sale are well worth checking out. There’s strange puzzling afoot in The Almost Gone, top-down action and adventure in Sparklite, and a weird and wonderful mix of dungeon crawling and tower defense in Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee.
