Golf On Mars, the sequel to Desert Golfing, Out Now for iPhone and iPad

A few years ago, Desert Golfing took the mobile gaming world by storm. It was a super simple game that pretty much spelt out its intentions in its title. You were playing golf, in the desert. And now its sequel, Golf on Mars has landed. Guess what this one is about.

Yup, that’s right. This time around you’re golfing on the red planet. The mechanics are just as simple as before. You drag on the screen to fire your ball towards the hole. There’s no par, no score, none of the things that most golf games brag about.

Instead there’s just you, the ball, the hole and a huge expanse of extra-terrestrial rock. Success comes from getting the ball in the hole and it opens up the next of the holes. Completion isn’t the aim of the game either, mainly because that’s not really possible.

Why is that? Well, it’s because there are about 25 billion holes in the game. That’s more golf than you can hope to play in your entire life. But still, each hole is a tiny challenge in and of itself, and you’re going to enjoy them all.

Golf on Mars is available right now from the App Store. The game will set you back $2.99 and you can click here to grab it. Less than three bucks for more game than you could ever hope to complete? Doesn’t sound too bad to us.
