Free to Play Shooter Warframe is Coming to Mobile

Digital Extremes has announced that its popular free to play multiplayer shooter Warframe is heading to mobile. The announcement was made at TennoCon, the annual celebration of all things Warframe.

There’s not much information about the mobile port, but we do know that unlike a lot of other mobile versions of popular blasters, it’s going to feature cross play and cross save – so you’ll be able to play against console gamers, and swap from device to device as you please.

You can check out some footage of the mobile version of the game in the video we’ve embedded below. The action kicks off at around the 15:30 mark, and it’s well worth having a gander at.

That’s pretty much the limit of our knowledge about the game right now. We don’t have a release date, price point, or anything else. Well, we’re pretty sure it’s going to be free to play, because it’s a free to play game.

We’ll keep you updated as and when we hear anything else about Warframe Mobile. With this and Apex Legends Mobile on the way, it’s a pretty good time for anyone with a penchant for mobile shooters though, that much we do know.
