First Look: ‘Cute Kill’ from Touchten, Definitely Not Your Run-of-the-Mill Zombie Game!

1

Touchten Games, the Indonesian indie studio behind the 1.8 million download success of  Infinite Sky and the 2.8 million download success of Sushi Chain (wow, right?), were in touch today to let us know that their latest creation, Cute Kill, was just approved by Apple and is scheduled for worldwide release in a couple of weeks’ time.

And I’m calling it now, Cute Kill is going to be another big hit for Touchten. I mean, how could it not be? This endless runner/top-down shooter boasts three things us iOS gamers simply can’t seem to get enough of: a pick up and play friendly, arcade-y gameplay hook, adorable art direction and zombies, lots and lots of slobbering zombies.

Here’s the (delightfully bonkers) official synopsis of the game:

Acleanpocalypse came, everybody turned into Zombies, You might have heard this one…

Meanwhile, Super baby “George” and his sister “May” have to find a way to rendezvous with their parents who texted them that they are safe in a secret location and that there are tons of SUPER COOL anti-zombie weapons in the basement for them to grab… And so the fun journey begins!

ETA: January 23rd, 2013 (Wednesday). According to Touchten Games’ Anton Soeharyo, Cute Kill will be available free – for a very limited time only – at launch. Be sure to drop by Touchten’s Facebook fan-page and/or follow them on Twitter for more info.
