First Apex Legends Mobile Regional Beta Test Starting Later This Month

We’ve been pretty excited about the prospect of Apex Legends on mobile for a while now, and it’s creeping ever closer. For one thing we now know the game is going to be called Apex Legends Mobile. Which isn’t that exciting, but we also know the first regional beta tests of the game are kicking off at the end of the month.

That’s the good news. The bad news is they’re exclusive to India and the Philippines, and they’re only for Android. This is just the first wave of the beta testing of the game, though, so expect to see iOS versions creeping out across the world in the coming weeks and months.

According to the blogpost that announced the beta, Apex Legends Mobile has been redesigned to fit on mobile, with new touchscreen controls designed to capture the excitement of the home versions without sacrificing too much.

That does mean the game isn’t going to be cross platform, but to be honest we were expecting that already. We’re already champing at the bit to get our hands on Apex Legends Mobile, and after the success of the likes of Call of Duty Mobile, we’re expecting big things from the game.

Keep an eye on the Apex Legends Twitter account for more information about the game, and keep checking back to iFanzine to find out when and where you’ll be able to play Apex Legends Mobile before it launches worldwide.
