Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition is available to download from the App Store right now. The classic co-operative action RPG has launched with a whole host of new features that make it one of the most enticing propositions on mobile.
If you’re not familiar with the game, it launched on the GameCube many moons ago and sees you journeying out into strange dungeons to power up your village’s crystal. Doing that protects your home from monsters, which is definitely a good thing.
It’s not all about fighting though. You also need to protect yourself, carrying your chalice around to project an aura that keeps you from harm. That leads to some of the most interesting co-op experiences you’re likely to have had in a long while.

One of the most interesting features of this new port is its cross compatibility. You’ll be able to play with friends using the console versions of the game, which is pretty darn awesome.
This new version also features new tough dungeons that unlock when you’ve finished the main story. Throw in newly recorded voiceovers, remastered music and a whole heap more and you’re definitely on to a winner.
