Felix the Reaper is Half Price for iPhone and iPad

Felix the Reaper is a game about light and shade, about life and death, about love and… scythes? And right now you can grab it from the App Store for half price. We reckon that’s a pretty damn good deal.

The game is a riff on the Sokoban template. You’re playing the titular reaper, Felix, and you need to harvest the souls of the living. That means keeping to the shaded areas of the levels, since the light is the domain of life.

You manipulate the dark by moving obstacles, light sources and the sun. Make yourself a path to your intended victim, then snaffle their soul. There are more than 50 puzzles to complete, and plenty of the game has been redesigned and tweaked for touchscreen devices.

We’ve embedded a trailer below so you can get a taste of what to expect if you decide to download the game.

Looks pretty darn awesome, right? There’s a story that pushes all of the puzzling along, which involves Felix falling in love with life. Which, as you can imagine, is a bit of a faux pas for a reaper.

Click here and you can grab Felix the Reaper from the App Store right now. Normally the game would set you back $3.99, but at the moment it’ll only set you back $1.99. What an absolute bargain.
