Expect More Details on Slay the Spire Mobile Later This Month

According to a post on the developer’s Twitter, we’re getting pretty close to being able to play Slay the Spire on mobile. PocketGamer has spotted a tweet from Anthony Giovannetti saying that there’ll be an announcement about the port of the roguelike deck-builder in the next 30 days.

That tweet popped up towards the end of May. So it looks like we’ll be hearing more about one of the most hotly-anticipated mobile games before June comes to a close.

What is Slay the Spire? Well it was one of the most critically acclaimed games of last year. It’s a dungeon crawling roguelike with a card-based battling mechanic and more depth than a super deep hole.

Slay the Spire is a punishing and super rewarding experience with more tricks and twists than you can shake a sword, mace or axe at. Check out the trailer below for a better idea of what to expect.

Looks pretty awesome, right? And, if you ask us, it also looks like it’d be an amazing fit for mobile. Which is why we’re so excited to find out when we’ll be able to get our hands on the pocket-sized version of this modern classic.

Thankfully, there isn’t too much longer to wait. We will, of course, keep you updated as and when we hear more about the mobile version of Slay the Spire. Are you excited to give the game a go? Have you already played it on another platform? Let us know in the comments section below.
