Everything You Need to Know About the Once Upon A Time in Rust update for Call of Duty: Mobile

The latest update for Call of Duty: Mobile landed last night. It’s a massive update, not just in terms of its size, but in the amount of content it adds to the multiplayer shooter. New maps, weapons and more are all included. And we’ve got everything you need to know about the update right here.

First up is a new map, called Rust. It debuted in Modern Warfare 2, so if you played it there you’re already going to have a bit of a leg up. There’s also a new map called Saloon, which is designed for 1v1 shoot outs. You can check out Rust in the video we’ve embedded below.

There are two new modes as well. Namely Capture the Flag and Kill Confirmed. Both of these are legendary in CoD circles, so it’s great to see them getting some love in the mobile version.

And then there’s all of the Season 6 content. Season 5 of the game is coming to an end in May, with a new 50 tier battle pass opening up when it does. There are new guns, new characters and more to unlock. Season 6 looks to be wild-west themed, and will feature a new operator skill called Annihilator.

There’s a new sniper rifle called the Outlaw to unlock, and you’ll be able to grab the Ghost – Cowboy and Seraph – Desperada character skins too. There’s more information in the trailer below.

The Once Upon a Time in Rust update is live on the App Store right now. It’s a big download – you’ll need 2.4GB of space to install it. Click here and you can download Call of Duty: Mobile for iPhone and iPad.
