Eve: Echoes has been one of our most anticipated games for a long while now. After a bunch of delays and false-starts, it’s now been revealed that the game is definitely launching next month.
When precisely? Why that would be August 13th. So you’ve only got three more weeks of waiting to get your hands on the mobile version of the epic space MMO.
What is Eve: Echoes? It’s a take on the space-faring MMO Eve, which has been around for donkeys years. Set in an alternate universe from the main game, it features trading, piracy, diplomacy and enormous space battles. Sounds pretty darn cool, right?

Look at all those spaceships! Look at all the things you can do! If you’re not excited right now then we probably wouldn’t get along in real life.
Eve: Echoes features more than 8000 star systems, a hundred ships and much, much more. Build corporations with other players, engage in enormous battles, or just fly around trying to become a merchant. The choice is entirely up to you.
You can click here to pre-order Eve: Echoes on the App Store. When the game launches on August 13th it’ll be free to play, so expect some IAP. Hopefully, the game will be able to replicate the “original and authentic” Eve experience that its App Store page promises.
