Bethesda has finally released Elder Scrolls: Blades for everyone to play after lifting the restriction to only those invited. Now, everyone can download it from the App Store and sign in to their Bethesda account to check it out.

Blades is a mobile exclusive entry in the franchise that challenges you to battle your way through a variety of dungeons for loot and glory. Any gold you accrue can be spent on town upgrades.

You play as a member of the Blades, a faction that lives to protect the Empire. The faction has fallen on hard times though, and it’s up to you to revive it.

That’s where the town building part comes in. When you’re not doing that though, you’ll explore a variety of themed dungeons participating in some tap-based battles against monsters from the franchise’s history.

As you progress you’ll unlock new weapons, armour, and other equipment that will help you increase your power. That, in turn, lets you battle even more monsters.

So head on over to the App Store right now and grab Elder Scrolls: Blades in early access. The full launch should follow this summer.
