Dragon Quest Walk is an upcoming new entry in the Dragon Quest franchise that’s exclusive to mobile.
It plays a lot like Pokémon GO if that was a JRPG. You’ll wander around an over world that looks like a standard JRPG over world but pasted over the real world.
Dragon Quest Walk Features the Series’ Trademark Battling
You’ll explore the world looking for monsters to battle. Battles are turn-based and act like traditional Dragon Quest battles, with you attacking, using magic, blocking, and items.
Then you’ll level up and collect a bunch of equipment. Much like in Pokémon GO, there are places you can stop off at for more resources too.
Dragon Quest Walk will launch this year on iOS in Japan, with a western release hopefully following later.
