Diablo Immortal Has Received a Development Update, But No Word on a Release Date Yet

We finally learned more about Activision Blizzard’s upcoming mobile exclusive action RPG this week, with the reveal of a brand new development update video.

The video shows off even more gameplay, including the Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, Crusader, Demon Hunter, and Necromancer classes.

Diablo Immortal is Shaping Up to be the Mobile Diablo We’ve Always Wanted

We also learned, and saw, a brand new feature: Ultimate Abilities. These do exactly what they say on the tin, providing a burst of power to destroy your opponents.

We got a look at a bunch of new locations too, which look suitably spooky. These include Wortham, Dark Wood, Tamoe Mountain, and Ashwold Cemetery.

There’s also a brand new World Event called Haunted Carriage, which appears to have you defending the eponymous carriage as it tries to make it through a map.

If you play Diablo primarily for the loot, you’ll be pleased to learn that there’s a bunch of Legendary Equipment on the way that will change up how you play.

It looks absolutely stunning too, looking every bit the Diablo on mobile experience we hoped it would be. Learn more on the official site right now, or check out the update trailer above.
