Okay, let’s start this one off with some provisos. Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is a new mobile game set in the Devil May Cry universe. And while it is coming to mobile next month, it’s only launching in China. So, y’know, we’re not entirely wrong.
However, we do expect this one to make it out in the West as well. After all, the Devil May Cry series is super popular all over the world. The game looks like it’s going to try and capture the slick combat that made the home versions so engaging too, which is pretty darn cool.
Peak of Combat was shown off at the Apple Launch conference a few weeks back, and we’ve embedded the footage below this here paragraph so you can get an idea of what to expect.
Looks pretty awesome, right? It’s fair to say we’re excited to get our hands on this one. The trailer shows off Dante and Vergil doing their thing – their thing mainly being killing things with big swords. The game looks reminiscent of the first few games in the series, rather than the most recent DmC 5.
We don’t have any more details about the game right now, but we will, of course, keep you updated as and when we hear more.
