Darkest Dungeon: Tablet Edition is Just 99c on the App Store

Darkest Dungeon: Tablet Edition is a port of one of the most interesting roguelikes of the past few years. And right now you can grab it from the App Store for the delightfully low price of just 99c.

The game, as you might imagine from the title, sees you trawling through gloomy subterranean passages in search of loot and slaughter. But all that darkness and all those monsters can take their toll. You don’t just have to keep an eye on your character’s hitpoints, you need to keep an eye on their mental health as well.

There are 15 different characters to build your team with, three different game modes and about 80 hours of gameplay to sink your teeth into. This is a challenging experience, but the rewards for getting deeper into it are well worth the struggle.

Darkest Dungeon has won and been nominated for a bunch of different awards, and it’s regarded by many as the pinnacle of the gloomy RPG roguelike genre. And right now you can get all of this for less than a buck.

Click here and you can download Darkest Dungeon: Tablet Edition from the App Store for just 99c. As you might be able to tell, you’re going to need an iPad for this one, so we’re afraid that iPhone players are out of luck.
