Colors Runners Strategy Guide – Get More People and Earn More Points

Colors Runners is a game about colorful characters running down an obstacle-filled path. The twist here is that sometimes you have to hide in swathes of differently-hued floor. Make a mistake and your burgeoning gang of plucky humans is going to get shot to pieces before you get to the safety of the city at the end of the level.

It’s an interesting idea and while you can pick up and play the game without too much trouble, there are plenty of ideas you’re going to have to get to grips with if you want to get the most out of the experience. And that’s where this guide comes in. We’ve played a decent amount of Colors Runners and discovered the strategies you’re going to need to get the best scores every time.

It makes no odds how much experience you have with the game. Just starting off your first run? Already unlocked several of the buildings in the city? Whatever the case, there’s going to be something here to help you out. So, let’s do this, shall we? Here are the best hints, tips and cheats for Colors Runners.

Match the colors

The key to getting the best score is matching the colors. When you’re running towards a patch of colors on the ground, you need to make sure your army passes over the one that matches their hue. If you don’t, they’re going to get shot. You’ll have a chance to switch to the right colored floor if you make a mistake – which is sometimes inevitable, since the colors are often quite similar – but you’re best bet is to try and not make the mistake in the first place.

Don’t lose people

The other thing you need to know about the colors is that you can only add people of the same hue to your human train. If you walk into characters of a different hue, they’re going to knock some of your army down and you’ll end up with a smaller score when you reach the city. Pick up the right kind of people and you’re going to do just fine.

Paint the town

When you reach the end of the level, make sure you spend all of your points on painting the town. They don’t stack, so if you’ve got any left over and jump back into the next level, you’re going to lose them all. Instead, throw them at the different buildings to paint them and bring life back to the city. When you’ve painted all of the town, you’ll unlock a new one to revivify.

Stick to the middle

The guys at ghostwriter klausur say when you’re running over the patches of color, your best bet is to stay as close to the middle of the strip as you can. If any of your people stray over into the wrong shade, they’re going to get shot to death. Make sure you’re in the correct position when the strip starts and try not to move once you’re there. The more people who survive, the better you’re doing.

Watch the videos?

There are various boost points in the city where you can watch a video to get extra people and special speed boosts. They’re not really worth your time, though. They might alleviate the grind a little bit, but not enough to make up for the time you’re going to spend watching the videos – especially since there are interstitial ads between the levels. Just keep going at your own pace.
