Clash of Clans Seasonal Challenges Explained: Everything You Need to Know

Clash of Clans recently introduced battle royale-style seasonal challenges that provide a bunch of new rewards for pretty much doing what you were already doing anyway.

The challenges are free to complete but you can earn way more rewards if you purchase the Gold pass, which lasts for the duration of the month. That’s also how long a season lasts of Clash of Clans.

In this guide, we’re going to explain how it all works so you can hit the ground running. We’ll detail the rewards, the Gold pass, and everything else.

What are Season Challenges?

Season Challenges are a new feature in Clash of Clans that basically rewards you for playing the game as you normally do. From now on, you’ll get daily challenges that you have to complete to get your hands on some new rewards.

The Silver tier challenge pass is free for all members, though you can pay $5 per month to get the Gold pass, which provides a bunch more rewards.

What Are the Rewards?

Silver pass members can get 15 rewards throughout the season, including magic items, potions, and more. At the end of the season, you can earn an extra five million gold, elixir, and 50k dark elixir too, depending on how much of each you have stored in your season bank.

Gold pass members earn up to 30 rewards and 25 million gold and elixir, and 250k elixir from the season bank. In addition to this, Gold members get a 20% speed boost to building, researching, and troop training.

Also, Gold pass members earn a unique hero skin every single month, the first of which is the Barbarian King skin, available right now.

What’s a Season Bank?

The season bank basically provides extra rewards for being active. Each time you earn gold, elixir, or dark elixir, you’ll get extra resources placed in the bank. You’ll then be able to extract these at the end of the season.
