In the developer’s own words: “Sometimes you create a game that you just cannot beat. Well, we have made a monster! I have played BrainTaire more than 500 times on levels 2, 5 and 6, and it seems to be impossible to beat it. I really need some genius to show us how to beat these levels…”
I can’t do it, he can’t do it. But logic states it can be done! That’s where you come in. Do you think you’ve got what it takes to work out the solution to the following puzzles? If so, a shiny new Apple iPad and/or iPod Touch could be yours!
1) Follow iFanzine on Twitter and retweet this post. Please let us know in the comments section you’ve done so.
2) Download BrainTaire from iTunes. Here’s the link.
3) Now comes the hard part. You must beat either level 2, 5 or 6. Or even all three!
a) A video of you playing and beating the level(s).
b) A screenshot or photo of the completed level(s).
c) A written solution to the puzzle(s), detailing the steps taken to beat the level or levels.
Contestants will then be entered into a draw and chosen at random. Please submit all entries before the 13th October 2010.
*The aim of the game in BrainTaire is to leave only one marble on the board. To start, you touch a marble over an adjacent marble, by jumping over it, you clear that marble. You need to continue this process until one marble is left. Sound easy? It’s not. Hence the fantastic prizes! Here are screenshots of all three levels:
