Black Desert Mobile: What’s Black Spirit Mode?

Black Desert Mobile launched earlier this month, and has taken mobile by storm. It offers a decent touchscreen version of the hit PC and console MMORPG of almost the same name.

While many features are pretty much the same, including the combat, world, and non-combat skills, there are many new features – like Black Spirit Mode. What exactly is that? Well, that’s what we aim to cover in this guide.

Black Desert Mobile: What’s Black Spirit Mode?

Black Spirit Mode basically allows you to perform a bunch of different activities while you’re not actually playing the game. For three hours, you can farm monsters for experience and loot, gather crafting resources, or fish.

At the end of the three hours, you’ll have to open the game up again and reactivate Black Spirit Mode or you’ll stop automatically performing whatever action you were. This is basically to prevent you from keeping Black Spirit Mode up permanently and never actually playing the game.

Black Spirit Mode isn’t available from the very beginning of the game though, so there’s no point trying to initiate it until you’ve unlocked it. To unlock it, you need to beat the boss Giath.

Once unlocked, we strongly recommend activating it every three hours whenever you can’t play the game. It only takes a few seconds to initiate after logging in, and is well worth doing as you’ll progress a heck of a lot faster than if you weren’t using it.

It’s entirely up to you to decide what’s most important to you in terms of hunting, gathering, or fishing. Hunting is good for gathering loot and levelling up fast, gathering is great if you’re focusing on crafting, and fishing is a great method of keeping your pets fed or making money.
